Blactina Media engages our audience through a Black Latinx point of view across multiple platforms. Blactina produce’s content for film, digital and television as well as hosting events both digital and in person. In 2019 Nydia was awarded the Latina Entreprenuer grant from Rizos Curls. Currently Blactina is seeking investment for a slate of TV projects highlighting Afrolatinx/Caribbean narratives.

Blactina Media creator Nydia Simone is a Panamanian-American actor, writer and content creator, born and raised in New York City, who is known for her work amplifying Afrolatinx and Caribbean narratives in digital media.
